MY STORY
Gentle Giant Forge was started on a dream. The dream is to make one of the highest end kitchen knives available. I have taken many steps to make this dream a reality. It started at A renaissance fair seeing the blacksmiths work. With that image in my mind, I dug a hole in my fire pit in the backyard and stuck a hair dryer to a pipe and got to forging. Around this time is when a little show called forged in fire started. I watched that and got to see some amazing smiths make knives and I instantly knew this is what I was meant to do. Eventually from that point 7 years later I would be a competitor on the show. Season 8 episode 34 the Ben Abbott takeover. This experience was amazing, and I still think of it fondly. From that Thought I learned I still had A LOT to learn, and I have spent the past several years honing my craft. From some of the best out there including Salem Straub and Neels Van Den Berg to. Always pushing myself to the next step. I want to create something that you and who ever inherits this tool has something to have for many generations to come.
